So things are being finalized for SCRATCHbread to be apart of something huge… A project with some of the most skilled, masterful & brilliant restaurateurs this day and age has seen… Their not breaking the mold… They are the mold… This group of talent is just laying stone over concrete to finalize a project, planned on being one of the premier institutions in the city. Location: Upper East Side.

Here are a few hints regarding this project:

- I am working on a modern-humble approach to the death of the continental breakfast… (Yes, a hotel is involved…)

- Starting next week, SCRATCHmorning amuse of breakfast pastries, as well as some breads will be debuting for the first time in a Manhattan restaurant… We are also trying to feature SCRATCHcreamery made in house, with frozen custards, hand rolled puff pastry and some other delicious products to bring a real aspect of rustic to the project as well.
