Chef Juventino is a damn silent chef ninja very much under the radar right now… Listen folks, I love saying folks, I wouldn’t be here, if this wasn’t the place to be… he’s taking my friggin cocoa nibb-orange chai sticky hand rolls and sopping them in creme anglaise…then griddling it… and calling it french toast… you cant make that s*^T up.. that’s like one hundred hugs from the most beautiful people ever… and then another hundred with a compliment and a pat on the back after wards… tell me that wouldn’t put a smile on your face… And I’ll lay it out right now… Go eat at Get Fresh, Go buy some stuff from the specialty market and tell me what the masses of SCRATCHpeople think and want… Lets start the comments folks (i couldn’t resist). I wanna see some interaction. Anybody know this place?! try it, love it, hate it, want more from it, maybe a mini pickled beet for a souvenir.. you tell me…

I just got word today…. The owners of Franny’s Pizzeria, Who my best friend happens to be the Chef, Danny Amend, have asked me to feature some of my breads at their new, and highly acclaimed Larder… Brooklyn Larder that is… and it’s at 228 Flatbush. This place is amazing… top notch all Italian foods/charcuterie/Cheeses & prepared foods… and basically I don’t think there is a place to get things better in the area… stop in… order some delicious foods. and check them on-line… www.bklynlarder.com
